About Us

Streamline is owned and operated by husband and wife team Mike and Bronwyn Febey in Devonport on the North West Coast of Tasmania. Mike entered the upholstery field as a school leaver and has worked in the industry for over 30 years. 

Business operations, built on a foundation of traditional furniture upholstery and general motor trimming, repairing, recovering and manufacturing goods as required, began in January 1991 offering a wide range of upholstery services.  The need to move the initial home based operation to commercial premises became apparent very quickly and in October 1991 was relocated to Devonport. 

The development of new ideas, services and increased customer base contributed to continued growth that saw the expansion and relocation to larger premises on Don Road, Devonport in December 2000.

Over time diversification has seen an extension of services to include a large range of Canvas and PVC Products, Boat Interiors, Covers and Canopies, Structural or Decorative Sails and Awnings and Custom Design covering all facets of the industry.
